I was thrilled when the girls decided to make decorations for myself

"just because". Little ones seem to know that any moment is a good moment to create something to delight, to celebrate the little ceremony that is surprise making and giving. I was banned from entering the playroom for a good ten minutes whilst these gifts were constructed...even more suspenseful!

"Close your eyes, mummy, put out your hands!" We have surprises for you!"

Wrapped up flowers, a rabbit face and an assembly of colours (joy!) - we assembled them on our hallway table so daddy could be surprised when he came home from work.
